 How are you today?

Did you have any trouble finding us?

What do you think of the weather lately?

How are you today?

I'm fine thank you, and you? 或 I'm well thank you.

不好的回答是:So, so 或 OK 或Not so well

I attended the University of Beijing from 1990 to 1993.

I graduated with a degree in civic engineering.

I am currently studying at the University of York and will graduate with a degree in Economics in the coming spring.

I am studying English at the Seneca Community College.

ABC Engineering Inc. have employed me for the last 3 years as a salesperson. I have been creating customer contacts for 6 months.

I was employed by Jackson's Ltd. from 1995 to 1997 as a office manager.

I worked as a production supervisor at the Heitz while I was living in New York.

My job is to assist the senior scientist with unit testing不如說I assisted the senior scientist with unit testing.與其說I was responsible for the business needs analysis不如說I analyzed the business needs.

 acted accomplished adapted administered advanced

 advised allocated analyzed applied approved

arbitrated arranged assisted attained blended brought

built carried out catalogued changed classified collaborated

 compared completed computed conceived conducted

Tell me about yourself.

答: I was born and raised in Dalian, China. I attended the University of Beijing and received my master's degree in Economics. I have worked for 5 years as a financial consultant in Beijing for various companies including Rossi Consultants, People's Insurance of China and Pepsi. I enjoy playing soccer in my free time and traveling.

答: I've just graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Computers Science. During the summers, I worked as a systems administrator for a small company to help pay for my education.

What type of position are you looking for?

答: I'm interested in an entry level (beginning) position.

答: I'm looking for a position in which I can utilize my experience.

答: I would like any position for which I qualify.

Are you interested in a full-time or part-time position?

I am more interested in a full-time position. However, I would also consider a part-time position.

Can you tell me about your responsibilities at your last job?

答: I advised customers on financial matters. After I consulted the customer, I completed a customer inquiry form and catalogued the information in our database. I then collaborated with colleagues to prepare the best possible package for the client. The clients were then presented with a summarized report on their financial activities that I formulated on a quarterly basis.

What is your greatest strength?

答: I work well under pressure. When there is a deadline (a time by which the work must be finished), I can focus on the task at hand (current project) and structure my work schedule well. I remember one week when I had to get 6 new customer reports out by Friday at 5. I finished all the reports ahead of time without having to work overtime.

答: I am an excellent communicator. People trust me and come to me for advice. One afternoon, my colleague was involved with a troublesome (difficult) customer who felt he was not being served well. I made the customer a cup of coffee and invited both my colleague and the client to my desk where we solved the problem together.

答: I am a trouble shooter. When there was a problem at my last job, the manager would always ask me to solve it. Last summer, the LAN server at work crashed. The manager was desperate and called me in (requested my help) to get the LAN back online. After taking a look at the daily backup, I detected the problem and the LAN was up and running (working) within the hour.

What is your greatest weakness?

答: I am overzealous (work too hard) and become nervous when my co-workers are not pulling their weight (doing their job). However, I am aware of this problem, and before I say anything to anyone, I ask myself why the colleague is having difficulties.

答: I tend to spend too much time making sure the customer is satisified. However, I began setting time-limits for myself If I noticed this happening.

Why do you want to work for us?

答: After following your firms progress for the last 3 years, I am convinced that Smith and Sons are becoming one of the market leaders and I would like to be part of the team.

答: I am impressed by the qualitiy of your products. I am sure that I would be a convincing salesman because I truly believe that the Atomizer is the best product on the market today.

When can you begin?

Immediately.

答: As soon as you would like me to begin.

Do you have any questions?"

the competitive environment in which the organization operates

what obstacles the organization anticipates in meeting its goals

how the organization's goals have changed over the past three to five years

 1. What are the main objectives and responsibilities of the position?

 2. How does the company expect these objectives to be met?

 3. What obstacles are commonly encountered in reaching these objectives?

 4. What is the desired time frame for reaching the objectives?

 5. What resources are available from the company and what must be found elsewhere to reach the objectives?

 1. Have you had a chance to review my resume?

I haven't had the chance to review it in details as I would like to."(其實就是壹次也沒看過。)不要為此懊喪,沒看過的話,正好可以說,"well, maybe it is helpful for me to talk about the highlights of my qualifications." So let me talk about the highlights of my qualifitions."

 2. Is there anything else I can tell you about my qualifications?

 3. I've read the job description, of course, but how would you describe the nature and duties of this job?

I am glad to hear that maintaining customer relationship is a great part of this position. I am very customer-focused and always keep their needs in mind." I've spoken to Mr. Smith about the responsibilities involved in this job. What's your take on the most important aspects of this position?"

 4. What are the major chanllenges that you staff is facing right now?

 5. What results would you like to see me produce?

This is what you expect, this is what I will do."

 6. What do you consider ideal experience of this position?

 7. How would you describe the atmosphere, the culture of this company?

I really like that. I am energized by pressure situations."

 8. Was the person who held this job before me promoted?

 9. May I talk to the person who held this job previously(or who is currently doing this job)?

 10. Based on what I've told you, don't you think that I could give you all that you need in this position?

 1. Why are you leaving your present job?

 2. Describe what you feel to be an ideal working environment.

To me the ideal working environment is one in which people are treated as fairly as possible. 也可以說challenging and fun workplace.

 3. How would you evaluate your present firm?

It's an excellent company that is regarded as one of the industry leaders.

 4. In your current or last position, what features did you like the most? Least? Why?

In my last job I had to report what I do to my manager on a daily basis. I think that I am very organized and self-supervised so daily report is not the best way of using the time of both.

 5. Why haven't you found a new position before now?

 6. What do you think of your boss?

 7. How do you resolve conflict on a project team?

Communication is very important to resolve conflict. First I would discuss the issues privately with the team members involved then I will help to find out a way to settle based on the business needs.

 8. Do you generally speak to people before they speak to you?

It depends on the circumstances.

 9. How would you describe your own personality?

 10. Are you a leader?

 11. What career options do you have at the moment?

I see three areas of interest……"

 12. How would you describe the essence of success? According to your definition of success, how successful have you been so far?

 13. You may be overqualified for the position we have to offer.

Strong companies need strong people. A growing, energetic company is rarely unable to use its employees' talents.

 14. What do you look for when you hire people?
